Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award Programme is for young people aged 13-24.

There are 3 levels of award, Bronze, Silver and Gold.  By completing an award young people will gain new skills, push themselves physically and voluntarily help others in the community.

The list of benefits from doing the award are endless and can help young people stand out from the crowd when applying for college, university and jobs.

We have a team of committed, knowledgeable and experienced staff and volunteers who will make sure that young people are supported when completing an award.

The Wakefield Open Award Centre is open in Crofton on Thursday evenings 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm (time dependent upon award level).
