Nina Eugenie Tanguay

Hi my name is Nina Tanguay and I’m a candidate for Wakefield East UK Youth Parliament.

My aim is to not only make young people heard but to make you feel comfortable in the Wakefield area. I want to achieve this by raising awareness for mental health issues and learning disabilities as we shouldn’t be pushing away and avoiding talking about these issues but accepting them.

Furthermore I believe that getting around the Wakefield area is a problem as buses can be late, uncomfortable and costly.

I am a good candidate to vote for as I am dedicated to improving the Wakefield area and have good communication skills making it easier to get your voices heard.

I am running for Youth Parliament because I believe that everyone should be involved in improving the Wakefield area and making Wakefield a better place. Besides this I feel that young people should be aware that mental health and learning disabilities should be openly talked about and accepted without being scared of what others will think about them.

Moreover you should vote for me if you think that travel, mental health issues and learning disabilities should be addressed.

Thank you for listening and remember – your vote is your voice.
