Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

Are you aged 14-24? If yes, then why not complete the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programme.

There are three levels of the Duke of Edinburgh programme that can be done, which when successfully completed lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

By completing the award you will gain new skills, push yourself physically and voluntarily help others in your community.

The list of benefits from doing the award are endless, from building lasting friendships to helping you stand out from the crowd when applying for college, university and jobs.

We have a team of committed, knowledgeable and experienced staff and volunteers who will make sure that you are supported as you start to find out what the award is all about and what you can offer.  Come along and see what you think?  It could be the start of a great opportunity for you!

The Wakefield Youth Work Team run the award scheme from the Wakefield Open Award Centre on Thursday evenings 6.00 – 9.00 pm

Crofton Young People’s Centre, High Street, Crofton, Wakefield, WF4 1NF
