Apprenticeship recruitment for Wakefield Council’s January 2015 starts is open
For this intake, we are looking to appoint around 20 Administration Apprentices to support front line Council services in areas including:
•Youth Development Support
•Revenues and Benefits
•Libraries & Museums
Closing date for applications: 9 November 2014
As an apprentice you are able to earn while you learn new skills and gain qualifications. All training is undertaken within the Council and at local providers of further and higher education.

You are invited to attend a ‘Roadshow’ event that gives advice on completing an application form which has proven to increase your chances of reaching the interview stage.

•30 October at 3.30pm- Knottingley Sports Centre, Hill Top, Knottingley.
•31 October at 3.30pm – County Hall, Bond Street, Wakefield.
•3 November at 2pm – Airedale Library and Learning Centre, The Square, Airedale, Castleford.
•3 November at 3.45pm – Five Towns Resource and Technology Centre, Welbeck Street, Castleford.
•4 November at 4pm – Hemsworth Library, Market Street, Hemsworth.
•5 November at 3.45pm – Pontefract Library, Shoemarket, Pontefract.
