Agbrigg Youth Club – Agbrigg Forum Meeting 7/6/16

At the Agbrigg Forum meeting young people discussed the issues and concerns for them in their community these included:-

-People throwing rubbish in their local park and not taking care of their community.
-Bullying in general but cyber bullying in particular.
-Attending school regularly as their education is important to them.
-Disrespecting others and their cultures people need to treat each other with respect and be more understanding to differences.
-Having more to do for young people in the community as there is very little happening for young people.
-To be listened to like tonight and taking away their concerns and seeing what can be done about them.

They also had fun doing make up and beauty, playing tigs, and playing table tennis on an improvised self made table as they desperately need a table tennis table so if anyone out there has a small table going spare please could they contact the Youth Work Team on 01977 722815 and speak to Sughra.
