Anti Bullying Charter Mark Project UKYP

The UKYP are currently working on an antibullying project. This will be looking to work with local schools and Youth Centres to promote Anti bullying and for support to be available for young people who may be experiencing it. UKYP are hoping to launch this piece of work in mid March inviting schools and school councils to learn more about it and embed it into their schools. They will work through certain criterias to get a charter mark and depending on the level they work to it will be either at bronze, silver, gold, platinum or diamond.
The Service Director for Education & Inclusion Marium Haque and Portfolio Holder for Children and Young People Cllr Olivia Rowley came to the UKYP meeting to support and help in taking this work forward. The young people presented their idea to them and were given positive feedback and a commitment to support this work
