Castleford RUFC Girls

What do we do?

Castleford RUFC Girls want everyone to enjoy sport and most of all, rugby. as it is a game for all abilities, shapes and sizes. For girls in our area we provide experienced and supportive coaches and opportunities to play Rugby Union matches against other clubs. Our emphasis is on development of players’ rugby skills and teamwork. As enjoyment is key to development we hope that all players, parents and supporters enjoy being members of our club.

We welcome everyone from absolute beginners to experienced players and we have a track record of welcoming players with Rugby Union or Rugby League experience: we say that the similarities in the codes outweigh the differences and both start with the same word, RUGBY.

We run 3 teams: U13s (Year 7 & 8), U15s (Year 9 & 10) and U18s (Year 11, 12 & 13)
