Jack Tyler Landale

My name is Jack Landale and I am 14 years old. I am hoping to become a Youth Parliament Member and help to change young people’s lives for the better.

Personally I believe that there are 2 major things that need to be changed in our community.  The first belief is around mental health facilities in school.  Many children in Years 10 and 11 are often put under lots of pressure due to exams and all desire to do well.  However I believe we need more effective facilities for those who are suffering mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

My second belief is on life lessons.  At the moment there aren’t many schools in the Wakefield district that teach students about how to manage money etc.  I also believe this needs to change and lessons on this should be introduced.

Thank you for listening to my beliefs on what needs to be changed and for considering my points.  I sincerely hope that you can all realise what needs to be changed and vote for me to make these changes happen.

Thank you.
