Teamwork Challenge 2014, Featherstone

The idea behind Teamwork Challenge is that over the course of 12 months, our young people (aged 13 to 19) will set themselves a series of 6 challenges from which they will grow in skills, self-esteem and confidence. The challenges can be anything – make the community smile, build a shelter and stay in it overnight – a mixture of fun and contribution to the community. The young people will be supported by our young volunteers and professional youth workers. The project takes place in the Huntwick, Verner St and Priory Rd area of Featherstone and will involve up to 25 young people, who must live in the area, during the year. To join or for more info contact Isabel Pender on 07856 805994.

People’s Health Trust is an independent charity addressing health inequalities across Great Britain. It works closely with each of the 51 society lotteries and makes grants using money raised by the society lotteries through The Health Lottery.
